SUMMARY:Community Acupuncture + the 5 Elements Series: Autumn Treattment
DESCRIPTION:Community Acupuncture + the 5 Elements Series: Autumn Treatment \nIn Traditional Chinese Medicine\, the five elements are associated with the seasons of Spring\, Summer\, Late Summer\, Autumn\, and Winter. \nEach element has many associations\, including organs\, meridians\, and characteristics. Because all five elements are present within each of us\, acupuncture can be especially beneficial at points of seasonal change\, helping us to keep them all in balance\, resulting in better health. \nCommunity acupuncture is used for overall well-being and stress management and is facilitated in a group setting rather than on an individual basis. \nParticipants are fully supported by a zero-gravity chair and will receive a 30 – 45-minute acupuncture treatment involving the insertion of very thin needles to strategic points on arms\, legs\, and ears intended to elicit a relaxation response. \nDuring this session\, we will focus on an acupuncture treatment designed to work with the organs associated with the Chinese medicine element of Earth; the Spleen and the Stomach. We will also cover some of the other correspondences of Earth but special attention to Earth’s pillar of health & wellbeing: Food and Nutrition \nELEMENT: Earth \nTREATMENT FEE: $40 \nACUPUNCTURIST BIO: Nick Dower\, LAc\, is a licensed acupuncturist with Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Holistic Therapy. He has a master’s degree in acupuncture from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies where he also completed a certificate program in Chinese herbal medicine. \nNick practices and teaches various styles of meditation\, breathing\, yoga\, and qi gong. He has a special interest in using Chinese medical philosophy\, combined with behavior change models\, for teaching and developing the pillars of well-being. \nShare this:

SUMMARY:The Path Between Us: Enneagram Conference with Suzanne Stabile
DESCRIPTION:March 24\, 2023: 6:00pm – 9:00pm\nMarch 25\, 2023: 9:00am – 5:00pm (lunch included) \nIn today’s world\, it’s challenging for most of us to process our interpersonal experiences and understand how others view us. This makes relationships hard\, whether with intimate partners\, friends\, family members\, or professional colleagues. The Path Between Us Conference will guide you into more profound insights about yourself\, God\, and those around you so that you can experience healthier\, more life-giving relationships. Together we will look at the nine Enneagram types and explore how each number behaves and interacts relationally. Additionally\, you will dive deeper into the motivation and dynamics of the different Enneagram types\, unlocking mystifying behavior in ourselves—and in others. \nBox lunches will be provided for all attendees on Saturday as part of your ticket purchase. Please let us know of any dietary needs. With notice\, we will try very hard to accommodate your needs (no special requests can be accommodated the day of the event). \nSuzanne Stabile is recognized as one of the leading authorities of the Enneagram in North America. She is the best-selling author of The Road Back to You and The Path Between Us\, and hosts the popular Enneagram Journey podcast. Stabile trained with Fr. Richard Rohr and has taught at his Center for Action and Contemplation. Over the past 25 years\, she has taught the Enneagram to thousands of people in corporate settings\, churches\, conferences\, and mental health workshops. \nTickets for Preferred Seating and a Private Meet & Greet Dinner are also available! \nJoin us for an inspiring and illuminating weekend! \n  \nShare this:

SUMMARY:Gardner's - Sleep Elevated Seminar at UAC
DESCRIPTION:The Fountain of Youth Can Be Yours!\nTurn back the clock with an exciting new way to sleep that will have you feeling young once again.\nDear Friend – suppose\, just suppose you could wake up with a renewed spring in your step where you can go back to years gone by when the mornings were a blessing and the day ahead had no limitations. Imagine a tomorrow morning where you wake up far less: \nSORE \nSTIFF \nTIRED \nImagine a morning without the pins and needles in your arms and legs\, kink in your neck and knot in your back. Isn’t it funny how you sleep all night and yet wake up in the morning feeling more tired than when you went to bed! \nThere are reasons for this and despite what you think you know about sleep\, or may have heard\, I’m willing to bet what I have to share with you is something you haven’t heard at all…but would love to know. \nSince 1990\, Gardner’s has helped Lancaster County wake up happy and pain free. We are a Lancaster Newspapers Readers Choice Award Winner for Favorite Mattress Store every year since 2010 and have amassed over 1\,600+ online and in-store 5-star reviews. You’ve likely seen our truck around town. There isn’t a week that goes by when we aren’t in your neighborhood. \nI’d like to personally invite you and your spouse (if you are still happily married or with someone) to Universal Athletic Club for a fun filled\, educational seminar dispelling everything you know about sleep. You should know that your current sleep habits\, routines and positions are quite possibly taking precious years off of your life. \nAccording to Dr. Mark Stibich PhD*\, those who are sleep deprived and have poor quality sleep are at a higher risk for diabetes\, obesity\, heart disease\, hypertension and  depression. \nIsn’t it time you enjoyed sleeping once again? Isn’t it time you woke up feeling refreshed and energized ready to face the day? These next\, and remaining\, years ahead – you have more than earned\, and you deserve to enjoy them to their fullest. \nDuring this fun and educational seminar we’ll share… \n\nThe perils of why a “too firm” mattress can actually do more harm than good\nWhat your mother told you about correct posture and how you can use it to sleep better\nHow you have used your pillow for years is wrong and what you need to know right now about how to fix it\nThe cool down and warm up routine you must incorporate into your sleep routine\nWhy sleeping flat is the single worst thing you can do to your body while sleeping The best part is you’ll leave with helpful tips you can try that night!\n\nThis seminar can be described as a fun-filled interactive presentation\, where we will be sharing our best tips to improve your sleep and you can work with us in an interactive way to understand how you can improve your sleep.  \nSleep is the new magic pill and the best part is – no side effects! In fact\, restorative healthy sleep is the single best thing you can do for your health and well being and it’s of course all natural! Hollywood actor Johnny Depp says “you know you’ve gotten old when you talk about sleep in the same way you once talked about late night parties!” \nIf you’ve been yearning for the good old days\, wondering where the time went and how it seems that month after month the mornings are harder and the days shorter\, then it’s time to do something about it. \nYour next steps… \n\nStep 1 – Click here or call 717-299-6228 to register\nStep 2 – Put the seminar date on your calendar\nStep 3 – Attend the seminar and leave with tons of helpful information to help you sleep better!\n\nShare this:
