SUMMARY:Forest Bathing and Nature Therapy
DESCRIPTION:Forest therapy (sometimes called forest bathing) is an experience of being fully present with nature. This experience will be facilitated and guided by a sequence of simple invitations to notice and interact with nature. Benefits of slowing down in nature include a wide range of physical\, emotional\, and mental health benefits. \nThis walk will take place on the beautiful grounds of Homefields Care Farm and will end with a tea time and light refreshments. Weather permitting we will gather around a campfire towards the end of the walk. More information about what to bring will be provided upon registration. \nFor questions you can call Jodi at 717.917.4117. For information about the benefits of forest therapy please visit foresttherapypa.com/research.html \nJodi Good is a mental health professional who has worked in community based mental health services since 2007. Jodi has guided forest therapy walks for small groups on private and public lands. As a forest therapy guide\, Jodi unites her love of people and her love of nature to introduce others to the benefits of slowing down in nature. SUMMARY:Community Acupuncture + the 5 Elements Series: Autumn Treattment
DESCRIPTION:Community Acupuncture + the 5 Elements Series: Autumn Treatment \nIn Traditional Chinese Medicine\, the five elements are associated with the seasons of Spring\, Summer\, Late Summer\, Autumn\, and Winter. \nEach element has many associations\, including organs\, meridians\, and characteristics. Because all five elements are present within each of us\, acupuncture can be especially beneficial at points of seasonal change\, helping us to keep them all in balance\, resulting in better health. \nCommunity acupuncture is used for overall well-being and stress management and is facilitated in a group setting rather than on an individual basis. \nParticipants are fully supported by a zero-gravity chair and will receive a 30 – 45-minute acupuncture treatment involving the insertion of very thin needles to strategic points on arms\, legs\, and ears intended to elicit a relaxation response. \nDuring this session\, we will focus on an acupuncture treatment designed to work with the organs associated with the Chinese medicine element of Earth; the Spleen and the Stomach. We will also cover some of the other correspondences of Earth but special attention to Earth’s pillar of health & wellbeing: Food and Nutrition \nELEMENT: Earth \nTREATMENT FEE: $40 \nACUPUNCTURIST BIO: Nick Dower\, LAc\, is a licensed acupuncturist with Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Holistic Therapy. He has a master’s degree in acupuncture from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies where he also completed a certificate program in Chinese herbal medicine. \nNick practices and teaches various styles of meditation\, breathing\, yoga\, and qi gong. He has a special interest in using Chinese medical philosophy\, combined with behavior change models\, for teaching and developing the pillars of well-being. \nShare this:

SUMMARY:Overnight Gong Puja
DESCRIPTION:The Gong Puja is sacred sound ceremony and celebration developed by Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux. The Gong Puja lasts for 7.5 hours\, or 10 consecutive 45 minute gong baths. During the Puja\, we sleep through the night into the early morning bathed in healing sound vibrations. The sleep maybe meditative and you may enter a relaxed dream-like state. Deep relaxation from the gong bath can help you to cleanse\, release tension and blocks. \nYogi Bhajan taught that a 45-minute going session would clear any immediate blocks\, and that ten 45-minute sessions would clear most blocks. \n\nThis Gong Puja Is being offered leading up to the full supermoon. It is the perfect time to release what no longer serves you\, to release all blocks\, while also setting the attention to bring in what you’d like to receive. Our practice this special night will include a brief Kundalini meditation to bring prosperity. \nWe will have caffeine free tea to share before and after the gong puja. \nGong Puja Schedule:\n9:15 pm: Arrive and set up your nest.\n10:00 pm: Welcome and tune in\, intention setting\, pranayama and meditation.\n10:30 pm: The gongs begin.\n6:00 am: The gongs end.\n6:15 am: Gentle wake up and movement\, Long Time Sun\, and Yogi Tea.\n6:30 am: Start your day bright & shiny. \nEveryone experiences Gong Puja differently\, trust your experience will be perfect for you. \nGong Puga Pricing: \nEarly Bird Pricing (sign up before 07/08/2023): $111.00\nSign up between 07/09/2023-07/22/2023: $125.00\nSign up after 07/22/2023 (if space is available): $150.00\nReservation’s are required – no walk-ins \nAbout Facilitators: \nMeg Green: Meg (Bachan Adi Kaur) is a KRI certified Kundalini Yoga & Meditation teacher\, Usui Reiki Master and sound and vibrational artist. \nLori Stahl: Lori (Rambir Kaur) vibrational sound therapist certified by the vibrational sound association\, a Practitioner of Biofield Tuning\, Vibrational Fascia Release Technique and Reiki. \nNOTE: Please bring comfortable bedding about the size of your yoga mat. Carpenter\nA transformation coach for over a decade\, Shawn uses a combination of different modalities to help you overcome emotional and behavioural patterns such as procrastination\, stress\, anxiety\, and burnout so that you perform at your best\, elevating your career and creating the relationships and quality of life they want as you come home to your (true) SELF. This includes elements of Strategic Intervention (founded by Tony Robbins) which draws from methodologies such as Ericksonian therapy\, human needs psychology\, and strategic family therapy as well as approaches favoured in Compassionate Inquiry®\, a psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté that reveals what lies beneath the appearance we present to the world. \nAs a lifelong artist\, Shawn is filled with such tremendous passion every time he puts paint to canvas. There is something indescribable\, something beyond words\, that comes alive in him. This is a powerful\, creative\, peaceful and intensive expression of Awareness. And in his art\, as in his sessions\, it is about being inspired toward our true nature. \nIt is about joy\, love\, bliss\, and the beautiful things in life. \nIt is also about facing those parts of us—the painful\, dark places we’d rather suppress\, project and hide from—bringing them into the light so that they can be integrated and we can become whole so that we can experience life as the miracle it is. \nIt is about going inward to realize our true nature. \nYou can experience the breakthroughs you need in your life and live the life you desire at the deepest levels. The life you’re called to live. \nYou can be successful\, powerful and at peace. \nYou can be FREE. \nHere’s what people are saying about Shawn:\n“It’s been an amazing two weeks since our last session! I’m using the strategies—everything you’ve shown me so far—and I’m experiencing some incredible breakthroughs because of it! Thank you\, Shawn!” \n“These sessions have been absolutely amazing! I’m blown away by how much calmer I’m starting to feel—every session… and how you’re helping me to make friends with my anxiety. I’m starting to be able to feel it in my body without it taking me over… and there is a real sense of peace with that. Thank you.” \n“Our session today was amazing! I’m blown away by how much calmer I am. I was so stressed out at the start of the session I almost cancelled. I’m sooooo glad I didn’t! I feel peaceful. Stronger. Like I can go out and tackle all of this.. and that Life supports me as I do. Thank you Shawn! \n“Thank you so much for today’s session—I really needed that. I can’t talk to anyone else about all of this\, ut I feel supported and safe with you. SUMMARY:The Path Between Us: Enneagram Conference with Suzanne Stabile
DESCRIPTION:March 24\, 2023: 6:00pm – 9:00pm\nMarch 25\, 2023: 9:00am – 5:00pm (lunch included) \nIn today’s world\, it’s challenging for most of us to process our interpersonal experiences and understand how others view us. This makes relationships hard\, whether with intimate partners\, friends\, family members\, or professional colleagues. The Path Between Us Conference will guide you into more profound insights about yourself\, God\, and those around you so that you can experience healthier\, more life-giving relationships. Together we will look at the nine Enneagram types and explore how each number behaves and interacts relationally. Additionally\, you will dive deeper into the motivation and dynamics of the different Enneagram types\, unlocking mystifying behavior in ourselves—and in others. \nBox lunches will be provided for all attendees on Saturday as part of your ticket purchase. Please let us know of any dietary needs. With notice\, we will try very hard to accommodate your needs (no special requests can be accommodated the day of the event). \nSuzanne Stabile is recognized as one of the leading authorities of the Enneagram in North America. She is the best-selling author of The Road Back to You and The Path Between Us\, and hosts the popular Enneagram Journey podcast. Stabile trained with Fr. Richard Rohr and has taught at his Center for Action and Contemplation. Over the past 25 years\, she has taught the Enneagram to thousands of people in corporate settings\, churches\, conferences\, and mental health workshops. \nTickets for Preferred Seating and a Private Meet & Greet Dinner are also available! \nJoin us for an inspiring and illuminating weekend! \n  \nShare this:
