For this series we will learn about the foods, herbs, and spices that are good for each season.
Ayurvedic practitioner, Jenny Schulder Brant, will guide you through the process of preparing seasonally appropriate and delicious food intended to support your digestive health during seasonal transitions.
At the end of class, you will have the opportunity to sample and savor the flavors of each dish. Let food be thy medicine!

INSTRUCTOR BIO: Jenny Schulder Brant is an Ayurvedic practitioner, Yoga teacher and artist. She studied Ayurveda at Kripalu and is certified through the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA). She a certified yoga teacher (YT200) with Briala Silva.
Her focus is on teaching food as medicine and on helping to build a community in which health and quality of life are valued most; one where we understand that the health of our own bodies and minds directly connect to the health of our communities and the world.

For years, LG Health has included massage therapy and acupuncture throughout various healing programs for patients. In addition to these clinically based services, Holistic Therapy supports LGH employees through their chair massage program, mindfulness-based classes, and well-being events.
Outside of LGH, the holistic team is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our overarching community through classes and workshops in partnership with local companies. Each evidence-informed workshop and class provides strategies to individuals and are intended to enhance physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
