The Family and Marriage Centers
In 2002, Evangelical Seminary began its Master’s Program in Marriage and Family Therapy. Part of this program requires students to do a Practicum/Internship, where intern therapists must accumulate a minimum of 300 hours working with clients over a certain period of time. In order to help accommodate this requirement, Evangelical opened The Family and Marriage Center in Lititz and then opened the Wenger Marriage and Family Center in Myerstown (formerly known as the Wenger Family Counseling Center). The Center offers a variety of counseling services: Marital and Couple Counseling, Family Counseling, Individual Counseling, and Premarital Counseling.
