Over 50 years ago, William Prather’s family dreamed of opening a Dinner Theatre. The family formed Prather Productions. They set their first home in Shamokin Dam, PA and later lead their family to Lancaster, PA where Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre was born. Son, William Prather began working for the family business after graduating from Cornell University. Will had the dream of opening a second dinner theatre in Southwest Florida, and in 1992, that dream became a reality.
Will is also the CEO of Apex Touring, a division of Prather Productions that takes Broadway shows on the road, touring major cities all over the world.
Will leads 2 Dinner Theatres and a touring company with compassion. He is the true meaning of the vision statement for the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre “Compassionate People Inspiring Happiness”
