Love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life.” Emily is an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife at May-Grant Obstetrics and Gynecology. One of the greatest joys in Emily’s life is providing compassionate care to women and their families. Emily is passionate about her role in empowering women to make well-informed healthcare choices. Special interests include prenatal/postnatal care, annual well-woman visits, family planning, and LGBTQ+ communities.

Emily grew up in Lancaster, PA where she graduated nursing school from Lancaster Institute for Health Education. She continued her studies by completing a bachelor’s degree at Immaculata University. While working as a labor and delivery nurse at Women and Babies Hospital, Emily attended Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY earning a Master’s degree in Nursing and a certification in nurse midwifery. After completing her degree, Emily worked as a certified nurse midwife at Women’s Healthcare Group in York, PA before joining the May-Grant team.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her spouse, three children, and their chocolate lab, Calli. She also enjoys being outside, lifting weights, reading, and traveling to experience new adventures whenever possible.
