Meet Dr. Amrita Bhan who was Raised in Manheim Township. Dr. Bhan started her journey as a patient at Albright & Thiry Orthodontics practice. Her experience as a patient and then working in the office during school breaks and summers off of both high school and college sparked her enthusiasm and interest to pursue the profession of orthodontics.
Dr. Bhan was a graduate of Manheim Township High School. She enjoys volunteering both locally and internationally having traveled to Kenya and Thailand as a volunteer dental assistant with Rotary International.
Dr. Bhan received a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University. She completed her dental degree at Temple University’s School of Dentistry, where she served as Class President and President of the Student Body. She graduated in 2016 with the highest honors and was inducted into the OKU National Dental Honor Society. She continued her education at Temple University’s orthodontic residency program and earned a certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Biology. Dr. Albright and Dr. Rick Albright were Dr. Bhan’s professors in her residency program.
Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Bhan enjoys traveling and photography. After living in New York City and Philadelphia for several years, Dr. Bhan is excited to return to Lancaster County and is looking forward to being involved in our community.
Successful careers are born out of the smallest seeds planted, and we should never estimate the power of chance meetings and those life circumstances that shape and mold us into becoming part of a greater purpose in our community.
