(Lititz, PA) United Zion Retirement Community is kicking off its Successful Aging Series with a Health Fair for seniors and their loved one’s on September 8th from 11:30AM – 3PM at United Zion. This event will feature over 20 stations with community partners. From financial health to physical health, hearing to legal support, there is something here for everyone. Attendees will be offered free blood pressure screenings, balance checks and more. Plus, there will be goodies for folks to take home as well as raffle giveaways. There will even be a cooking demo at 1PM by United Zion’s Director of Culinary. This is a free event that is open to the public.
Community partners at the Successful Aging Health Fair will include: A&E Audiology, Advocating 4 U Life Services, Aetna, Aevitas Law, Bellomo Associates, Caring Hospice, Continuous Home Care, Compassus, Grane Hospice, Hospice & Community Care, Landis at Home, Martin Foot & Ankle, Next Steps Insurance, Phoebe Pharmacy, Sloan’s Manheim Pharmacy and Symbria Rehab.
Please note that all Health Fair attendees will be required to complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire as well as wear masks that cover the nose and mouth.
The Successful Aging Series at United Zion are events that are focused on educating older adults and their loved ones on different topics that are important to their physical, mental and financial wellbeing. The next event will be Financial Security & Advance Planning Panel on September 13th from 2-3PM and 7-8PM.
United Zion Retirement Community is a non-profit Life Plan Community, located at 722 Furnace Hills Pike, one and a half miles north of the square in Lititz.
